A few verses

1. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

Update: When things go ok.

I apologize for the temporary rage let loose in one of the previous posts. I was upset at myself and at the gocco machine. Turns out I will probably sell it. I ended up making a rubber stamp and using the printer to finish the save the dates. Mission accomplished. Now on to the invites.
Who's ready for March 21? I am.
peace.

Goats on the Loose: A Walk Down Memory Lane by Gavin LaFave

Until this point, it was an uneventful drive to Little Rock. We had made it just outside of Searcy when the unthinkable happened. I looked up from the backseat just in time to see a pick up truck in the right lane with a cage carrying some sort of animals in the back. As we went to pass the pick up, the cage fell out of the back sending one goat skidding across the highway. We pulled over to lend a hand expecting the worst.
The five sided open bottomed cage completely blacked the right lane of traffic. Luckily it wasn’t hit. The goat that had slid down the lane ahd gotten up and was eating grass on the shoulder of the road. One of the two farmers rounded it up and tied it up. I went back by the cage to help pull it off the road expecting the worst. The goats inside were unscathed even though the cage had one completely pinned down.
After getting the cage off the road we had to get all the goats out of it. We each took turns taking a goat by the horns and straddling it to control it. we got the cage back in the truck and loaded the goats back in. Tied it down a little tighter. That was the first day that I had ever wrangled a goat and it was a memorable one.

What to do when everything goes wrong?

So maybe the title is a little over dramatic, but everyone has days that feel like that right?
Today I found out that my invitations that I was so excited to print myself probably will not work. What a waste of time, energy, and money. $300 down the tube. So that's one thing that went wrong and one more thing I have to worry about for the wedding. I havent been stressed about it lately becasue i haven't been making any decisions lately and there are so many to make. I don't like weddings. I'm trying to like them. I think I will like my own, but I am not excited about it right now.
Second thing to go wrong: I just found out that Wisconsin is going to make me take more course work before they will give me a license. wonderful news considering I was banking on getting a job right a way and not having to take anymore school... not to mention that out-of-state will cost so much and that I dont have ANY money.
Third thing: my roomate (probably) isn't comming back in January, so that money that's so tight... is going to be even tighter. wonderful.
I'm just ready to go home.

Ba Ba Da Dah!

Project Completed!

ProjectS completed!

It feels so nice to be productive. Even when the productivity isn't necessarily the most productive.

Checklist:
sew fall bag-- check
mend Gavin's shirt-- check
vacuum rug-- check
crisis intervention plan-- check

things left to do that probably should have been done first:
Group Counseling test---
5-7 pg paper on my theory of counseling--
vote--
hair cut--

so I'm shooting' 4 for 8?... half of my items are done for now and because of that, I feel accomplished.

Here's pics of the projects completed (minus the rug because that one isn't worth the film).

Pictured is the shirt and bag-- both vintage, might I add.

And here is another fabulous antique find that was discovered on the Sunday shopping spree... I think It will be turned into a clutch. I love the embroidery.
